Ashley and Jason had a wonderful Labor day weekend wedding in the Crystal Coast - They said I do in-front of 150 of their closest family and friends at The Country Club of the Crystal Coast in pine Knoll Shores, NC -

In lieu of their wedding celebration, the couple had a week of vacation and fun by the beach in Atlantic Beach, NC with closest family and friends prior to their wedding day.

The day of their wedding they were in the same beach property, while getting ready and making sure they avoided one another until they had a first look by the beach in on of the busiest weekend in the area as many waved "good bye" to the summer.

Their inspiration for their special day was a combination of classic and elegant along with a little of a shabby chic feel. Jason the groom wore a gray suit with a formal white dress shirt and tie that was a cadet blue 1 with commemorative american flag patterned suspenders and socks, and North Carolina State Coin Cuff-links. It is only appropriate since Jason's background is military. He gifted his groomsmen personalized baseball bat drinking mugs, along with cigars - how amazing is that?

Our gorgeous bride wore an ivory wedding dress with a voluminous ball gown silhouette, a sleeveless and plunging V-shaped neckline, a crystal beaded bodice, and a full layered tulle skirt accessorized by Kate Spade Jewelry and rhinestone-adorned LUCY flats by Betsey Johnson Blue bridal signature line which features an allover cutout pattern with a pointed closed-toe in blush satin color.

Bridesmaids matched the color scheme with groom's dress tie. They all received gifts from the bride, which was jewelry by Kate Spade moments before the couple's first look on the beach by the ocean behind their vacation home.

Our couple from from Washington DC, had planned this wedding long distance and all details were coordinated by vendors. Making their destination wedding a blissful experience.

We had a chance to travel to the capital and scheduled their engagement session in the spring. It was a wonderful idea, since they are truly busy with careers and schools.

We are happy to have been able to spend time with them prior to their big day!

Their venue was decorated with tones of blush and ivory. and accents of gold and lots of greens. The napkins on tables matched the same color theme of Jason's dress tie. It was simply beautiful!

They had a live harpist who is a friend of the family, and she played during the ceremony outside. It was a very romantic touch!

A great fact about our couple, we had the pleasure to be the photographers for one of their friends about 3 years ago - and so honored to have been part of their day and we got to see Kendal and Alex the day of the wedding - It is so sweet to see past clients at weddings.

The introductions and parent dances were truly extraordinary as well as the speeches. The dancing and partying started shortly after and it was the best fun!

Their sent off was a sparkler exit and then they enjoyed a wonderful time in Greece for their honey moon!
