Hello, I am a hybrid (analog & digital) wedding photographer based in Eastern North Carolina, and I enjoy traveling regularly across the state, throughout the country, and internationally.
My heart craves real connection.
I have been honored to capture 400+ weddings in the past 16 years, and I have learned that wedding photography is more than just the photographs. I know that what's valuable in my wedding photographs are the moments, the laughs, and the happy tears that rapidly become your most cherished memories.
My ethos is to be an unobtrusive observer, documenting the genuine, unscripted moments of your day as they naturally unfold. I believe the most beautiful photographs aren't the ones that are posed, but the quiet, fleeting glances and heartfelt laughter shared between you and your loved ones.
My purpose is to steer clear of orchestrating your moments on the day, but rather to capture the authentic, messy, and real joy of your celebration, which will become your moments.
My goal is to create a visual story that helps you relive the true emotion of your wedding day for years to come.
In my photographic approach during the day, I aim to avoid any trendy aesthetics that are rapidly found in today's wedding photography. I do this to offer my couples all the documentary realness seen in my workflow. The authentic nature of my work. This is my guarantee!​ Your wedding day is something I take very seriously.
The day involves a well-discussed plan that is effective. I am known to walk into rooms and begin to clean up a bit to get the 'getting ready' suite and its areas prepared and set up [when needed]. I always seek the best angles, even if that means repositioning a random vase or furniture. ​​​​
Finally, when I am not photographing the most special weddings in the season, you may find me traveling. I enjoy spending time between the amazing coastal towns of Eastern NC in the US and its beautiful countryside, or even going overseas. I can be found traveling between North Carolina, South Florida, and Eastern Europe, where I spend time with family and closest friends.
