Allie Miller Weddings' style

We will be very honest here, we are lovers of true-to-life colors and tones.
Also, textures are a thing you will find to be part of our work. There are some emulations, when the feeling calls for it, and the nostalgic in me wanted to create with Analog- FILM Stocks, and our hearts resonate with the hybrid nature in both mediums, digital and analog.
Allie Miller Weddings' process complemented the use of the stocks with our FILM Cameras, offering the most organic/non-emulated, pure nostalgia-driven captures, along with digital images when it is added to your investment.
Analog Film offers a wonderful experience- bringing that old good feel of the times in which digital was nonexistent, and Film was king!
Part of this process is very personal care, which is an essential approach, and we are always seeking that true and honest connection with all our couples. We yearn for photography that shows the authentic, organic, and colorful world with a very delicate saturation, with a true-to-life feel.
OUR couples deserve all the real moments with transparent energy & photographs that truly flatter.
Allie Miller Weddings' thinking is ever critical when we are creating THE SHOTS - whether these be candid or slightly purposely posed... We make sure that every check box is covered with the light, composition dynamics, and how it is making you look.
What may flatter someone may not be the same for others. Everyone is unique, and they truly bring that one thing no other has - themselves! We work with ALL that which reveals YOU in your best angle, light, and feel!
Our most important job during the day is to be proficient at creating intentional compositions by staying aware that once the night is over, our work will continue to unveil as we create, the light is sought as needed to set the scene, and then our real process for outstanding outcomes begins!
"We intend to provide the very personal attention
OUR clients deserve all of the very important details to be captured, appreciating the true nature of a day,
and all its sentiments."

By taking pride in the very personal wedding approach that is delivered in the photographic workflow for the day ranges from practical-professional to purely-essential-minimalist to editorially-lavished in details of the day!
Candid or Posed?
As a whole, we believe there’s a perfect time and place for both on a wedding day. Make sure your photographs will reflect all the true moments and emotions, and all images will embody the day's dynamics in a way that feels authentic to you.
All images will show the "real" in the day, along with a touch of elements that feel elegant, ethereal, and classic qualities that you expect from your photography team.
Truthfully, wedding photography should always be something more than just images.
Being invested and understanding that photography for the day must tell the story for generations to come entails in all purpose turning your moments into images that will help you remember.
We are sticklers for a good plan the day of, this will make for all successful outcomes. I will scout the best locations, before your first looks and your day's portraits with family...
One thing clear in our collective process is that we will abstain from random poses off a Pinterest board - Although some inspiration may help us to envision some dynamics, we are here to create YOUR unique moments.
What will truly suit the real YOU? That said, we will most likely refrain from taking a shot that does not feel authentic or takes away from the essence in spirit of your day. Regarding some of the proposed posing in your Golden Hour/Creative Portraits [portion] or formals, we will aim to keep it real and natural, so you will feel comfortable and far away from fake, still holding classic and fun!
Seeking that flattering light in a given setting in front of our lens is our happy place!
We will make use of both natural and man-made light when appropriately needed.
There will be intention in every shot and move! Even if tweaking that certain way of your stand while creating the most delightful look that unveils YOU [it can involve a slight bending of the knee or arm while keeping you in the feeling at that time.]
