Taylor and Joey's Wedding at The Beaufort Hotel - Allie Miller Weddings - Morehead City, Crystal Coast and Destination Wedding Photographer

What started with a date to go to a batting cage, continued to be the one of the happiest finds for both and as time passed a new chapter starts for Taylor and Joey as they become husband and wife!
Taylor and Joey were married on Sunday September 20th at the Little Chapel at The Beaufort Hotel in Beaufort, NC in front of 120+ of their family and friends.
Their love for sports, their dog and the ocean brought them even closer. And many of the details in the day revealed this...
Taylor's gown was repurposed from her mother's wedding dress, the House of Maganda Atelier in Charleston re-designed it for her.
Some of the details making up the story in her day, was a rosary, a verse book and 2 antique purses that belonged to her adored grandmother, Taylor just wanted to honor the memory by having them the weekend of her wedding. Joey, spent time with his groomsmen at the airbnb adjacent to the hotel, and while waiting to meet Taylor for their first look before walking down the aisle, he enjoyed hanging out with their furbaby Badger.
Their ceremony was officiated by Joey's uncle Bob, which was truly a meaningful implementation for their day. Lisa, [Taylor's mother] walked her down the aisle - a second look was shared between my couple - at the altar, her stepfather J.C and her step mother along with her mom gave her hand over to Joey.
After the I do's and the recessional, their formals photographs with families followed, and the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour.
As the reception started, Taylor and Joey greeted every guest into the ballroom as the introductions and dances completed, the couple headed by the dock area downstairs for couple portraits a little before sunset and even their wedding party joined them from the veranda. This was really fun!
Their reception was lightly decorated with many romantic accents including greenery and hurricane vases for candlelit dinner for the guests.
Joey and Taylor, crafted oyster shells as a favor/namesakes and also personalized noted greeted everyone of their guests as they arrived to their tables.
Dinner included lamb, oysters, tuna and other incredible coastal delicacies. Dancing and entertainment carried until after 10pm and a sparkler exit was in order. A sparklers farewell was the perfect send off as the night ended.
