The year 2020 - Where to start?
Yes has been different, icky, strange, challenging and disheartening to see so many of our couples reschedule, postpone, split, cancel, change guest count and events dramatically - all for the bigger good and health, but still very sad and truly uncomfortable for families and friends as well -
This was the year of ZOOM weddings - Virtual Celebrations - even outfits to outdo the normal standards and accomodate sans esthetics or coordinations.
This was out last wedding for the season, and out couple has braved what was given to them in parameters to retain their date!
Small group - mom, dad, grandparents, siblings only. 6 ft apart distance, use of long lenses making it all worth it. We delivered what they wanted and still will celebrate BIG next year..
Our bride had a great vision for her day - and so did Ryan!
The venue where the wedding was held in a location built in the 1900's - The historic Cross & Main - located in Downtown Youngsville, NC
No meals were served - due to covid. But, the couple wanted to share cake and so Bundt Mini Cakes for all - Including me! [ love me so =me lemon bundt-cake now]
They toasted, they danced their first dance - all was so carefully curated - all the little details -
Our couple exchanged the sweetest gifts, that were meaningful for each and the most beautiful broche i have ever seen - it has been in the family for over 100yrs and belonged to great grandma - this to honor her in Steph's bouquet.
After their ceremony we headed to a E. Carroll Joyner Park for some portraits in the open.
