Cameron's Bridals | Saint Mary's School | Raleigh, NC

Cameron and Stephen are probably married by the time this blog is being read - Bridals are such a great gift, but the suspense of not liberating images until after the I Dos is quite the job - The struggle is so real y'all!

Cameron is an alumni of Saint Mary's - She graduated many years ago, but she wanted her bridals to have the legacy and have them captured at the school campus... A little Story - Why it is all so important...

"History tells that 13 girls, The Original 13, arrived on May 12, 1842, for the first day at Saint

Mary's. A total of 21 students enrolled for the first session. The school has operated continuously on the same site in Raleigh ever since.

Today, Saint Mary's School is an innovative, independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory, boarding and day school dedicated to academic excellence and personal achievement for girls in grades 9-12. Saint Mary's School remains true to its original time-honored mission of providing an excellent education for young women.

The historic core of the school's 23-acre campus is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Saint Mary’s Chapel, designed by Richard Upjohn and built in 1856, is a National Historic Site, and five of the school’s 25 buildings are Raleigh Historic Properties.

The school, which formerly included a two-year college program, transitioned to a four-year high school in 1998, and the name reverted to Saint Mary's School, the original name of the institution when it was founded in 1842."

I was so happy to be able to step on this gorgeous campus - there is history and all the beauty here.

We even found the brick that has Cameron's name and grad year - a tradition for all students when the graduate.

My radar showed no showers and a little wind, well - the weather app took another turn when we braved a truly severe mini storm and I believe that without the help of mom, aunt and niece it would have been very challenging to have obtained these images - Which by the way they are just amazing - I may be biased though, but in all reality they are everything bridal sessions are about! I love traditions!

ENjoy!
