Vicki + Daniel | Wilmington, NC | Piday Wedding Celebration | Allie Miller Weddings | Rebellion ILM

From the bride to her groom...

"You're the fire

That warms me when I'm cold

You're the hand

I have to hold as I grow old

You're the shore

When I am lost at sea:

~STAIND

So, it was π day - The chosen day for a wedding between Vicki + Daniel.

Vicki is magnificent cake designer/pastry chef, and our friend [SwankySweetsBakeShop] She has been delivering bride's dreams into edible experiences for their days - 03.14.2021 was her day to be celebrated along with Daniel, her fiance and now, husband! Daniel a Marine, and Vicki are two peas in a pod - They both find great joy in IPAs and good Bourbon - It was only perfect that they chose one of the top Bourbon Bars in the region: Rebellion in Wilmington, NC to have their very perfect day!

They have a beautiful story. We are very happy to see them become one - Vicki, is one of our dearest friends and vendors as well... This was indeed one very special day!

Needless to say, Vicki designed of most of the details that revealed her style and vision, along with the help of Krystal D {Wedding Planner/friend] - Meg with Sweet Carolina Collective and Zena with Knot a Second Thought who delivered beautiful arrangements, greenery and florals for the venue decor and bridal parties.

Hair and Make Up was delightfully done by Natawsha V with NV MakeUp&Hair

Vicki and Daniel's color palette revealed navy blues, olive greens and ivories.

Much of the decor has Sprigs, Artichokes, greens that resemble beer hops and other details that were significant to their love story.

Catering was provided by Rebellion [The Armory] and in conjunction with couple they planned the most wonderful fare of vegan, gluten free and delicious bites.

Vicki created a wonderful dessert bar with three cakes and desserts that ranged from key lime pies to cherry shortcakes and other delicious sweets!

The bar featured both alcoholic and non-alcoholic signature drinks - in order to incorporate their fur-babies with the drinks, they had their name and also pictures were on the bar signage acrylics made by Meg. It featured One Eyed Wilma {Bourbon Crush*] & Suit Up Mosby [A Cherry Limeade] The wedding ceremony was held outside in the patio area - Truly a simple set up of a golden triangle shaped arbor with floral accents along with pillars by its side. On a whiskey barrel a small planter with a tree to commemorate the unione with her children,

A small bridal party that consisted of Vicki's 2 best friends and her young daughter, his brother who officiated along with best man and Vicki's younger boy took part of their ceremony.

Followed by formal pictures of family and couple, later by the introductions, toast and first dance the afternoon was very hoppy [in honor of the hops] and filled with love and vibes that honored Vicki's late husband and Daniel's father who passed three years ago.[Long stem ivory roses were delivered to groom's mom, and Vicki's family members in their honor]

We took a little stroll by the riverside with our newlyweds for a few portraits, and once back to Rebellion for a little more dancing as the afternoon came to an end with a beautiful last toast and one final round of shots.

Happiness, prosperity and abundance to our lovely pair!!! Enjoy!
