Reni + Jared | Merrill Estates & Gardens Wedding | Indian Beach, NC | Allie Miller Weddings

The day they got engaged [ Jared's proposal]

"From my dorm room crush to my fiancé ♥️ it’s been fun doing life with you and I can’t wait for more memories together." Reni's Post!

Reni and Jared were married in a beautiful and romantic wedding at Merrell Estates and Gardens in Indian Beach, NC

Both bride and groom are UNC alumni and their love was grown, surrounded by great energy that brought them together { Oh, shark bite story insert here {well, not really... but...]

The weekend started with a great Hawaiian luau themed rehearsal dinner, followed by fireworks to end the night... On Saturday, the day was just spectacular. Read below...

The coastal BoHo vibes inspiration were the base for the esthetics for the day. From the soft and classic black/tie wear for groomsmen and gold/beige satin dresses for the girls. The many other details ranged from heirlooms [ Like Yaya's ring] all the way to her ceremony wear including dusty blue penny strappy platforms, followed by her Betsey Johnson studded sneaker and her reception dress. Reni's bouquet was made of BoHo dried flowers and palms with accents of fresh lovely white orchids.

The ceremony was held at the venue's 'back-yard', where you can see the arbor as you make entry under the palms [which Reni adores] - The arbor held the same esthetics as the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. My groomsmen boutonnieres, had some of the same vibe to compliment, but with accents of white teacup roses.

As Reni and her father made entry on to the grounds and approach Jared, the emotions ran high for everyone. In Greek culture Just before the Father of the Bride hands over his daughter to the Groom, the Groom will kiss the Father of the Bride's right hand to show a sign of deep respect, honour and gratitude, and you will see this humbling gesture in the photographs below.

After the beautiful ceremony, we had the best 30 minutes capturing the family formals and the bridal party shenanigans… We finished by a couple of portraits of the newlyweds and their fur-baby ' Olive' - The true superstar, she roamed near her parents and will appear in the pictures as one of the bridesmaids! Olive, had her wedding top made in off white lace, her own leash and looked just dazzling...

After all the fun pictures, introductions were made for the newlyweds for their first dance and on to parents with Rani and Jared dances - A little prayer was made before starting the start up speech by James [Reni's dad] … Yes, we were all In tears! The party continued to 2 Greek dances and great food.

I will let the pictures speak of the day... Enjoy!
