Emma + Josh | Carolina Home & Garden | NC weddings | Allie Miller Weddings | Destinations

This is a bittersweet post - Emma and Josh closed my 2022 wedding season with their ceremony celebrated at Carolina Home and Gardens.

Emma's family owns property on the beach right on the island, a mere 15 minute drive from the venue in Newport, NC - It made perfect sense that they got ready on the beach. Also, was wonderful because we had a different and more emotional approach to their first looks, beach portraits and captures with Kiki [Leica - their pup]

Color palette inspiration for this gorge fall wedding were made of bronze, champagne and neutral colors in between with softer browns and pinks tones for the reception.

Josh's suit was tailored especially for him, and also he had details honoring his grandfather [ A veteran ] - His vintage gold watch, bracelet and military uniform tag.

Emma, honored her grandmother by carrying her handkerchief - The details is very sweet and subtle as well.

Fun Fact: For their RSVPs they had their guests write a recipe for keepsake...

The couple shared a first look and portraits with their fur baby with a beautiful backdrop of Emerald Isle Beaches...

From the ceremony to the reception, and the in-betweens with dances, speeches to the last of activities before the sparkle exit, was the Irish drinking game. This was fun!
