Miami, South Florida is not only where I have grown up, but also it is an amazing place with many hidden treasures filled with history and nature that make a wonderful backdrop for great images. These are the images from our session with Danielle and Marc. Danielle and Marc, are Florida natives and have been dating for about 3 years, and all happily changed last October while traveling to Napa, CA where Marc proposed to Danielle while on vacation. This extraordinary pair will be celebrating their wedding this fall. Read Their Story Below.... Their Story -

Q: Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?

A: Our mutual friend/coworker set us up originally, thinking we'd be perfect for each other. After an awkward introduction at FAU, we decided to grab lunch. Naturally, our first “real” date was a competitive round of miniature golf where we determined Marc was the superior golfer (yes, this is still his claim to fame).

Q: What makes your relationship special?

Tell us some things that you both value in your time together. (example: pushing each other to new limits, love to travel, huge comic book fans, foodies, etc.)

Q:What makes your relationship unique?

A: We truly are best friends and travel partners with a foodie background. We have traveled to Brazil, survived two job promotions, ate our way through the Caribbean on two cruises, learned that every home renovation project is a minimum of three trips to Home Depot, made it to our favorite state twice and road tripped along California's Pacific Coast Highway. We also have our honeymoon booked for Thailand this year. We enjoy adventures together and have many common interests.

Q: How did you know your partner was the one? When did you first know this in your relationship? (these may often be the same moment, but aren’t always)

A: We literally do almost every activity with each other, have inside jokes, amazing memories and we just have so much love for each other. It’s a special bond that doesn’t happen very often. When you know that you want to spend the rest of your life with your person you just know.

Q: Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?

A: We had a trip planned to California and it was complete surprise that he proposed. He planned a horseback riding adventure at winery and I was showing off my horse camp skills at first, then when we got to the top of the overlook he got on one knee and proposed with a photographer to capture the moment. We then had a wine and cheeseboard pairing inside the winery after and from there we were on cloud nine!

Q: We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!

A: It was a custom design from a local jeweler that he picked out. The first night after we were engaged, I stared at it with my phone flashlight all night. I also get it cleaned on a bi-weekly basis. Enough said.

Q: Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet?

A: Yes! We are in full scale planning now and most of the big ticket items are finalized. Now we are working the detailed things, which can be very time consuming, but it will all be worth it on our wedding day.
