We could not have imagined that the beginning of the 2017 year would have been celebrating with these two amazing souls and their friends at one of their favorite neighborhood gastro-pubs in Costa Mesa, CA. Jonelle and David - They have shared life and been together for a very long time and in 2016 David decided to propose while taking a 'casual' stroll along the Newport Beach Boardwalk not far from home for Valentine's day - There is sweet history in all details - from how it all started back in 2005 in Miami while in attending F.I.U until today, - And we just know that the story will continue for years to come - Crazy enough - Jonelle was inclined for a very small [ probably courthouse ] wedding - But, David was really wanting a little more than just a wedding by a magistrate - Yes! seeing his bride in a wedding gown and having family and closest friends with them when they said 'I Do' - They both found a middle ground - They would be running in the New Year's saying I Do , closest family in the area were present [ in both sides] - She wore a gorgeous Oleg Cassini gown [ and looked overly gorge in it] and they both were as happy as they could be - the party was ON! This was no traditional wedding - there were no toss of bouquets or garters, no bridal parties, no bridesmaids - just two friends [ one was her sorority sister and then her close friend - doing make up ] There was no bridal bouquet - It was about THEM and what this very special day meant to both of their families - Very intimate and sweet! The weather in the area on the 31st was not the kindest - As rain was present and everything was fortunately held indoors - After the weekend, we went back to revisit the spot in which David proposed last february and took their gorgeous creative images -Jonelle, dressed in gown and David in his tux - It was a terrific time and we loved how Catalina Island was hidden in the far distance and bathed with rain showers - Still a glimpse of the sunset came around for them and it was just meant to be! The lovely couple will have another wedding celebration in Jamaica this summer as Jonelle's family lives there and they could not come to California on this past date - We cannot wait for this amazing celebration! They will enjoy a beautiful honeymoon in Machu Picchu - Peru SA Cheers and Enjoy the sightings -
