Michelle + Jeff | The Dunes - Atlantic Beach, NC | Destination Wedding | Allie Miller Weddings💒

Where to start?

Michelle and Jeff, met 9 years ago by pure coincidence, little did they know they would be falling in love and getting married.

Jeff and Michelle met at Tillery Tradition in Mt Gilead, NC while at a Christmas party 2013.

Michelle introduced herself to Jeff, told him she was a hairdresser, and he happened to be in need of a good haircut. He was determined to get his haircut, and she was really happy to see him again! And so, all the great that comes together happened and the rest is history...

Fast forward 2021 - Their favorite place to visit is KEY WEST Florida. And while there this past Spring, Jeff finally popped the question. It was the perfect proposal- right there on the beach in the Florida Keys!

Michelle and Jeff, made plans to celebrate their wedding at The Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach, NC this Spring.

The weekend was filled with great fun and with 100+ of their closest family and friends - it was pretty perfect. From devotional readings by both, Michelle and Jeff to a flower man making a dazzling entrance during ceremony to Snoop's 'Drop It While Is Hot' - I mean , I cannot wait for the video to re-live this - although the images are relatable...

Oooh... The colors chosen by our couple, were dusty and desert pinks with white and gorgeous greens. Definitely a palette to die for.

Michelle's wedding gown was designed by Morilee By Madeline Gardner, her favorite sneakers were the perfect pair of GGDB [ Golden Goose Italian Sneakers ] to complete her wedding look - although she opted to wear Jack Rogers Sandals down the aisle, I mean because 'beach wedding' All bridesmaids wore gorgeous Azazie - Dusty Rose and Terracotta Colored long gowns - Groom and his Groomsmen wore Gray 3 piece suits with different ties, Jeff sported really awesome socks that said 'Do these make me look married?'

Michelle and Jeff's florals [ including tables, bouquets, boutonnieres and additional decorative accents were delightfully designed by Knot A Second Thought, who has as well coordinated and planned the day along with my bride. They had gorgeous mix of blush and cream colors with dusty pink roses, peonies along with subtle greenery - Simply gorgeous!

Bride and Groom exchanged gifts and love notes, and they honored their mothers with beautiful ceramic gifts, that will create lovely heirlooms for their families. Michelle shared a first look with her Daddy, as he was appreciating the canvases displaying her lovely bridals portraits, Michelle surprised her dad with cufflinks that showed one of her favorite childhood memories, and also a message in her own handwriting.

Jeff, had a little moment with his daughter Jada, a little bit before opening some of the gifts...

Mia + Daisy, [ their cute Weimaraner and Chihuahua ] The adorable fur-babies made an appearance for the ceremony as they walked with Michelle and Jeff when they exited the wedding ceremony.

Ceremony was officiated by BJ - Michelle's brother. This could not be any sweeter.

The Dunes Club was in charge of ALL catering as well as all reception service. Truly flawless!

Alexandra, the event coordinator made sure all ran smoothly. She coordinated the meal stations offering choices of shrimp, fresh tuna tataki, salmon, capers, artichokes, tomatoes and other delicious fresh items for guests to enjoy. Also, a hot food station buffet style, presented with rice, asparagus, chicken, fish and prime rib.

Oh! The wedding cake - was truly beautiful - See? Michelle loves Volkswagen Buses [ Better said: Transporters. And their cake celebrated just that! Dian S Sammons did just a wonderful job with Michelle's cake.

Entertainment was provided by the Neil Jackson band, they played acoustic as well as covers from some of the most favorite artists that Michelle and Jeff enjoy - They had a ▶ list with great dancing tunes, and everyone participated, and had the best time - We even danced!

At the end of the night - Michelle and Jeff's exit, was different and very special - Fiber Optic wands were used [ these were also fun for the dancing time inside ] -

The most extraordinary detail of the day, was saved for the exit - Michele and Jeff's getaway vehicle was a 1973 Red - International Scout II [ only 532,674 Scouts were produced 1960-1980] Now-a-days, making it a rare find - Jeff's dad - Took this amazing vehicle and restored it and truly, it was perfect for this special day!

Enjoy this day in my camera's eye!
