It all started with a click, or more rather, a swipe!
Kenny and Jessica hit it off right immediately after meeting, and they quickly recognized how much that right swipe had changed their lives for the better. They quickly made it official, and things only got better from there.
Flash forward nearly four years, and Kenny was ready to take their love to the next level, proposing to Jessica on December 18th, 2021.
The couple, together with their families, are overjoyed for you to be a part of their excitement as they prepare to say "I do."
The festivities began on Wednesday before Thanksgiving day, with rehearsal and authentic italian dinner at Ken's family most favorite restaurant in Babylon, NY.
Family and bridal parties reunited and gifts were exchanged as well, it was such a great tone for their wedding day on Friday.
Friday, we met at Jessica's sister in laws' home, where all the girls were getting ready. Kenny, got ready at his childhood home and we met at church.
Wedding was held at 1pm in the afternoon, upstate weddings are so different, dynamics are fitted to the bride and groom's visions for the after ceremony portraits, since no first looks were shared [ only first looks were shared with Jessica's dad and brother]
The weather, was cold [ 38degrees ] and very windy, but this gave us a lovely feel for the photographs, our couple was so happy that we had the dramatic clouds in the background at their chosen park.
Arriving at their venue for family portraits, we had the opportunity to capture a few Sunset shots over the harbor, then continued with the final portraits before cocktail hour and intros.
The party was really happening after dinner, with first couple and parent dances, speeches by bestest man and sisters, cake cutting and a bouquet toss followed along with dances with their grandfather and bride's brother. and the party continued until 10pm, when there was a farewell dance and no other form of exit.
What a wonderful time we had with The Calamaris and their families. A perfect way to end the 2024 season.
