Kat and Eric’s wedding in Morehead City was a perfect blend of personal touches and coastal charm. From the bride’s preparations at her family home to the lively celebration at the Morehead City Country Club, every detail reflected their love for the Eastern Coastal area. The day was filled with unique style choices, heartfelt moments, and joyful festivities that made their wedding truly unforgettable.
A Morning at Home on Evans Street
The day began with Kat getting ready at her parents’ home on Evans Street. This intimate setting allowed her to feel surrounded by family and comfort before the big event. we utilized the spaces in the main room to create her heirloom images while getting ready, all the familiar in the walls and warm atmosphere added a layer of calm and happiness to the moments before heading to the MHCCC. It was a meaningful choice that connected her to her roots and set the tone for the day.
A Venue That Speaks to the Coast
The Morehead City Country Club provided a stunning backdrop for the ceremony and reception. The marsh on its backside offers the most inspiring backdrop for their ceremony and their day in general. The country club, its location in Eastern North Carolina truly offers beautiful views and a relaxed coastal vibe. The venue’s natural charm complemented the wedding’s theme, which celebrated Kat and Eric’s connection to the area. Guests enjoyed the fresh air and scenic surroundings, making the experience even more memorable.
Wedding Details Inspired by the Eastern Coast
Every detail of the wedding reflected the couple’s love for the Eastern Coastal region. The floral arrangements, planned by Cody A. with Grow Social, featured colorful and delicate blooms along with stunning greenery that echoed the local landscape. The color palette and decorations brought in soft blues, sage tones, pops of colors that spoke of Spring and natural textures, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.
These thoughtful touches made the event feel personal and authentic.
Unique Style Choices for the Groom and Groomsmen
Eric and his groomsmen stood out with their bold fashion choices. Instead of traditional suits, they wore bespoke Hawaiian shirts that added a fun and relaxed element to the celebration.
Eric himself wore a tailored suit from Indochino, blending classic elegance with a modern twist.
This mix of styles showed their personalities and kept the mood light and festive.
Entertainment That Kept the Party Going
The Emerald Empire Band provided nonstop entertainment throughout the night. Their lively music energized the crowd and encouraged everyone to dance and celebrate. The band’s ability to read the room and keep the energy high made the reception a true party.
Guests of all ages enjoyed the mix of songs and the band’s engaging performance.
An Intimate Moment Before the Farewell
As the night drew to a close, Kat and Eric shared a quiet, intimate moment away from the crowd.
This pause allowed them to reflect on the day and their journey together before joining their friends for the farewell exit and after-party.
It was a touching scene that highlighted the deep connection between them amid the excitement of the celebration.
A Joyful After-Party with Friends
The festivities continued as the couple and their guests headed into town to join the after-party. This relaxed gathering gave everyone a chance to unwind and enjoy each other’s company in a more casual setting. The after-party was the perfect way to end a day filled with love, laughter, and meaningful memories.
