Allie is a hybrid (both analog & digital) wedding photographer who, along with a team of equally qualified co-creators based in Eastern North Carolina, offers services while traveling regularly across the state, throughout the country, and internationally.
Our hearts crave real connection.
Although Allie has been honored to capture about 400+ weddings in the past 16 years, she has learned that wedding photography is more than just the photographs. And, her team shares that same emotion; they know that what's valuable in their wedding work, and these are the moments, the laughs, and the happy tears that rapidly become your most cherished memories.
Allie's ethos is to be an unobtrusive observer, documenting the genuine, unscripted moments of your day as they naturally unfold. She believes the most beautiful photographs aren't the ones that are posed, but the quiet, fleeting glances and heartfelt laughter shared between you and your loved ones.
Her purpose is to steer clear of orchestrating your moments on the day, but rather to capture the authentic, messy, and real joy of your celebration, which will become your moments.
Their goal is to create a visual story that helps you relive the true emotion of your wedding day for years to come.
In their photographic approach during the day, they aim to avoid any trendy aesthetics that are rapidly found in today's wedding photography. They offer this to all the couples, all the documentary realness seen in my workflow. The authentic nature of their work as a team. This is AMW's guarantee!​
Your wedding day is something AMW takes very seriously.
The day involves a well-discussed plan that is effective. Allie is known to walk into rooms and begin to clean up a bit to get the 'getting ready' suite and its areas prepared and set up [when needed]. And always seek the best angles, even if that means repositioning a random vase or furniture. ​​Her team follows suit in the same manner!​​
Lastly, when she is not photographing the most special weddings in the season with her team, you may find her traveling.
She enjoys spending time between the amazing coastal towns of Eastern NC in the US and its beautiful countryside, or even going overseas.
And, she can be found traveling between North Carolina, South Florida, and Eastern Europe, where she spends time with her family and her closest friends.
She loves to travel and enjoys good conversations, tisanes, coffee, and good eats.​ Ugh, but still dislikes long flights...
