film format

the experience within your day!

the most intentional photography in film for your timeline

I have always loved the film aesthetic, and the fact that it allows for anticipation

and for true intentional and pure connection every time...

I am so happy to be able to offer this experience to my clients...

Digital photography has been very dominant in the past years, I have still managed to deliver the FILM aesthetic in my process while emulating film, which it stills provide pop of colors, texture and immediate imagery...   Film allows us to slow down, and wait... Living presently with a nostalgic vibe.

Now, with intention as my guide, I set out to make permanence of your photographs.

And, in that process I have paid attention to each micro-decision — for I know these add up.

This is WHY, as an added investment I offer the Ten-Fifteen Minute FILM experience

This special moment will deliver a halt of 10-15 minutes specific to the solo photography for you both.

No rush - just intention and connection

Think of it this way...

Wouldn't it be nice to just let go of the timeline for 10-15 mins?

Perhaps, taking this little tile to just BE THE TWO OF YOU -
Connecting the after I Do's -

You are now Husband and Wife and this is THE MOMENT

I will capture these moments... Will make them ART

And they will be your forever in the prints collection you choose!

Important aspects

I feel that in order to make a sound decision for these options offered, here is a simple explanation of the why each is the right fit for the right look you want

It may be a bit technical, but I know this is relevant knowledge!

  • 35mm Film has a standardized frame size of 24mm x 36mm (864 sq. mm of film surface) which allows for smaller prints 4x6 and 5x7 in my 35mm film add-on collection. Making them perfectly sized for a good wall collage and mounted prints.

  • 120-Medium Format FILM has the option for the larger size prints - This size difference can be anywhere from two to six times larger than 35mm films and larger film size produces images with much more resolution, in order to create large prints without the noticeable grain that you would get with smaller format film.

Larger size of medium format film also allows for more control over depth of field, and therefore delivering the beauty of softer backgrounds alongs with better tones and smoother gradations and lack of perspective distortion.

Medium format images have a distinct feel that is instantly recognizable. This will make your portraits way more powerful images.
